My Plan
I sat at my desk at home the other night and just had TONS of thoughts running through my head. I tried to focus on one at at time and what was important to me and something that I could control. I needed a goal - something that I can work towards. Then my friend Dawn was telling me about the Warrior Challenge she is going to do. It is very similiar to the Warrior Dash I did a few years ago except this one is at Lab Mountain - right here in Tully NY. THATS IT!!!
April 27th - http://warriorrunmountainseries.com/ I will run this race - I will do my best and most of all I will have fun.
So I sat back and wrote a "Plan"... my PLAN!!! My plan had a start date (Feb. 12th) and an end date (April - it had a workout plan - a nutrition plan - I put together a realistic plan for myself.
My workout of choice is going to be my LesMills Combat (its a 60 day workout that I do at home), my karate classes, Shaun T Insane Abs, and once the weather is better running. I also told myself that I WILL do my LesMills Combat workout in the mornings - that way NO EXCUSE for not having time after work.
Here is my schedule - I started the LesMills Ultimate Warrior Hybrid workout on Tuesday Feb. 12th and April 12th is the end date of that 60 day program. Just happens to be 14 days before the race. What perfect timing!!!
Below is the picture of my schedule - I even bought fun stickers so that I can track my progress each day. I took my measurements and before photos (those won't come out until at a later date lol). I am ready for this. Today is Day 3 but this picture is from Tuesday - DAY 1. I will report back each week on how I feel and how I am doing. You all will keep me accountable.
I can do this - I WILL do this!!!
Cheers my friends!!

Motivation and a New Year
Its so easy to lose site of your motivation. It happens to me - it happens to alot of people. I am soo much better at motivating everyone else but myself... I have to try very hard to keep myself going. Talk about practice what you preach... lol.

Cleanse Overwith - I MADE IT!!
I did it!! I lasted three days!! I drank TONS of water, downed green tea (which isn't so bad now - don't get me wrong its not something I would make myself just because), had my shakes daily, and salads with either chicken or fish and got awesome results!!!
And my results were..............
I lost a total of 6lbs and an inch and half off my waist!!! I would say those are great results for just 3 days - and that wasn't by starving myself at all - it was a healthy cleanse and also some light workouts (ok so they weren't light - I pushed myself). Its a great push of motivation for me to keep myself going!!!
Its a new month, which means some new opportunities. What will you do this month to push yourself to the next level?
